Special Indications concerning the celebration of mass in the Church:
Persons at risk: If you are over 65 years of age or older, if you have diabetes or respiratory problems, Please do not come to mass yet. The fact that we are being allowed to come back into the church does not mean that there is no danger of infection. Please be prudent.
Seating capacity in the Church: We are only able to use 25% of our seating capacity. For St Theresa’s Church this means that we can seat 148 people in the church at each mass. We will have to respect social distancing so we will only sit in every other pew. We will have to isolate ourselves by household. Families must sit together.
Sanitizing: Please bring a mask. The hymnals and missalettes have been removed from the church and the pews will be sanitized before every mass.
Sunday Obligation: The bishop has lifted the obligation to attend Sunday mass until further notice. Please feel free to watch mass on television and sanctify the Lord’s day by prayers and devotions until things get back to normal.
Daily masses will resume this week on the same schedule as before. Please consider coming to daily mass (where there will be less people) as an option to coming on Sunday.
In Jesus, our Risen Lord,
Fr François Sainte-Marie
Pastor
